Our philosophy
At Saint George, we feel true hospitality is found in the details.
Our philosophy is rooted in authenticity, simplicity, and heartfelt service. Each cocktail is crafted with intention, encouraging balanced enjoyment and connection. We've created a space where guests can slow down, be present, and feel genuinely cared for; a refined yet intimate experience that feels like home.
Our story
We met in Greece, where our story began, and eventually moved to Austria together. Along the way, our shared love for hospitality, people, food, drinks and creating meaningful experiences slowly brought us to the idea of opening a place of our own.
And then, Saint George grew from that idea.
Saint George is a reflection of who we are, what we love, and how we believe hospitality should feel.
Comes from a strong background in gastronomy and hospitality, with years of experience in bars, restaurants, and hotels.
Comes from a psychology and human resources background. Saint George became her first hands on experience in gastronomy, one that quickly became a very special part of our lives.
At Saint George, our concept is simple: we want people to feel good. From the moment you walk through our door, we want you to feel welcome, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. Hospitality is personal to us, and every detail is shaped with care.
We created Saint George to feel like a cozy living room. A place where you can slow down, enjoy a great cocktail, have a conversation, laugh, and simply spend a nice evening. We believe in balanced drinking, thoughtful cocktails, and above all, genuine human connection.
For us, the greatest compliment is when people come back, not only for the cocktails, but for the feeling and the experience they had with us.
Flavours with a story
Many of our cocktails begin with something familiar: a flavour, a dish, an ingredient, a memory, or something we grew up with. We enjoy taking these references and looking at them through a different lens, transforming familiar flavours into unexpected cocktails.
Greek herbs, Mediterranean ingredients, traditional dishes and the flavours we associate with home often find their way into our menu, alongside influences from our travels, experiences and the world of gastronomy.
For us, creativity doesn't always mean creating something completely new. Sometimes, it means taking something you already know and experiencing it in a different way.
We believe in thoughtful cocktails, balanced drinking, and genuine human connection. And while the drinks are an important part of what we do, what matters most to us is the experience around them.
One of the greatest compliments is when people come back, because they remember how they felt at Saint George.

Excellent cocktail bar if you are looking to relax with your partner with a great atmosphere. We were just walking the streets going from bar to bar however this just sets a great mood and the owners have put a lot of thought and care into the bar. Very welcoming and lovely people!

Very special cocktail bar. The cocktails are amazing, all the signature cocktails are full of interesting details and flavors. They know why they don't bother listing classic cocktails on the menu cause you shouldn't bother with anything else. The apple crumble was my favorite. Plus the staff is super friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is great too with chill music that’s not too loud to talk. A new favorite for sure.

Private events
Looking for a more intimate setting for a birthday, team gathering, celebration, or simply a special night with your favourite people?
On selected Sundays and Mondays, Saint George becomes your own private cocktail bar for the evening, with good drinks, jazz, conversation, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere.
Our private events are designed for smaller groups of 15 to 22 guests, allowing us to keep the experience personal and true to the spirit of Saint George.
Choose from our cocktail focused experience or a more complete evening with drinks, savoury bites and desserts. Our cocktails can be prepared both with and without alcohol, and we are happy to accommodate vegan and vegetarian preferences.
Expect a selection of cocktails, a little jazz, plenty of conversation, and the kind of evening that feels more like gathering at a friend's living room than hiring a venue.
